Race Day Transport Package

Competing horses have one job that day. Our job is to make sure getting there didn’t cost them anything. Calm loading, direct routing, on-time delivery — so your horse steps off the trailer ready to perform.

How it works

Built around your
event schedule.

Race day transport is different from a standard haul. The timing is tighter, the stakes are higher, and the last thing a competing horse needs is extra stress. We plan the trip around your post time or gate time — not the other way around.

We coordinate directly with you, your trainer, or your barn manager to confirm arrival windows at both ends. If you need a same-day return haul, we can wait on site or return on a scheduled window — just tell us when you book.

What’s included

  • Pickup timed to your event start — we work backward from gate/post time
  • Direct routing with no unnecessary stops or delays
  • Calm, unhurried loading process to minimize pre-competition stress
  • Confirmation call or text when we’re 30 minutes out from arrival
  • On-site wait for same-day return haul (subject to availability — confirm at booking)
  • Coordination with trainers, barn managers, or event staff at destination
  • All standard inclusions: Diego on horse handling, clean trailer, document verification

Common questions

As early as possible — ideally a week or more in advance for weekend events. Race day hauls are harder to accommodate last-minute because of the time coordination required. If you have a recurring event schedule, we can discuss a standing arrangement.
Yes, for many events. On-site wait time and a return haul can be added when you book. The cost depends on how long we’d be waiting. Tell us your expected wrap time when you request the quote.
We stay in contact throughout the day. If your class or heat is delayed, let us know and we’ll adjust. We build buffer time into race day schedules specifically because events run long.
Most shows and all interstate hauls require a current Coggins. Even for in-state events, many venues require it at check-in. See our Coggins guide for specifics by state.

Going to the same track as another owner?

If other owners run the same circuit on the same day, a Shared Haul going the same direction can save everyone about 20% off the mileage rate.
