Most small horse haulers are one person with a trailer trying to do every part of the job alone. We thought there was a better way.
RD Heartland Hauling is two close friends from Adams County who decided to start something honest together. Diego brings years of hands-on experience with horses and a real reputation in the local equine community. Rinor brings box-truck driving experience and the steady, reliable hands you want behind the wheel when there’s a horse on the trailer. Diego handles the horses, Rinor handles the road, and you’re always talking to an owner.
When your horse is on our trailer, the person leading them on actually knows horses, and the person behind the wheel actually knows how to drive carefully under load. Neither of us is doing a job we’re uncomfortable with.
The name “RD” is straightforward — Rinor and Diego. The “Heartland” part reflects where we’re from: Berne, Adams County, northeast Indiana. Swiss immigrant roots, an active Amish farming community, and a culture that takes looking after animals seriously. That’s the standard we built on.
