About — Equipment

What we haul with
and why it matters.

The trailer and truck are as much a part of the horse’s experience as the handler and the driver. Here’s what we use and how we maintain it.

The trailer

Three-horse trailer,
purpose-maintained.

We’re a brand-new outfit getting equipped right now. Below is the standard we’re holding ourselves to as we put our rig together. We’ll add photos and full specs of our truck and trailer here the moment they’re on the ground.

Our trailer

We’re outfitting with a three-horse trailer — enough room to give every horse proper space and to combine a few horses headed the same direction, without ever overloading to squeeze in extra animals. It’s still a right-sized rig that can get into the farm lanes and barn lots bigger commercial haulers can’t reach.

How we’ll maintain it

This is the standard we’re committing to from day one — not box-checking, but the difference between a safe trip and a problem discovered too late:

  • Cleaned and disinfected between every haul (biosecurity)
  • Mats inspected and replaced when worn
  • Full pre-trip inspection before every departure
  • Lighting, brakes, and hitch verified at each load

The truck

We’re putting a reliable, well-maintained tow vehicle in place to pull the trailer safely under load. Rinor will keep it on a regular maintenance schedule and handle any mechanical issues before they become road problems. Full details and photos go here once the rig is ours.
