Ohio sits right next door to our Indiana base and is one of our most active haul corridors. Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, and the equine-heavy counties of central and southern Ohio are all within regular range. Interstate hauls to and from Ohio begin as soon as our operating authority is active — in the works right now — so book early and we’ll lock in your date.
From our Berne, Indiana base, most western and central Ohio destinations are reachable in two to three hours. We cross into Ohio regularly for hauls in both directions — bringing horses into Ohio from Indiana, and hauling Ohio horses to Indiana, Kentucky, or Michigan destinations.
Ohio’s equine community is strong and diverse: Quarter Horses and Paints in the west, warmblood sport horse farms in the central region, and a long tradition of harness racing statewide.
Ohio requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI / health certificate) for horses entering the state, along with a current Coggins (within 12 months for EIA). Make sure paperwork is ready before we load — we verify it at pickup.
